May First Friday, new space on Roma!

May 1st was our first opening at our new space on Roma. After three weeks of 12-14 hour days and lots of work, our First Friday opening was a huge hit. We just adore our new space on the corner of 1st and Roma! Chroma on Roma, according to everyone I talked with at the opening, is now THE “IT” place here in Albuquerque. Naturally, I think so, but I’m a little biased. So, it was great to hear it from the many new visitors and our regulars alike. Many thanks to the Albuquerque Art Crawlers meet up group who chose our gallery to visit this month! Usually, we have a late crowd since we stay open late, but this month was different, we had a huge early crowd with a steady stream of visitors all night.

Dayna Griego, a New Mexico artist living in Silver City, brought us several new pieces including fused glass and clay wall hangings.

This is just a small sampling of our incredible group of gallery artists!

We now have enough room for a print area and a jewelry room.
