Starting June 6th, Chroma Studios Gallery will host a Saturday Arts & Crafts Market. Every Saturday 11am-5pm we will open our space to artists, rent table/wall space and have our own arts and crafts market. We are hoping to have the market run through October, ending during the two weekends of Balloon Fiesta. In cases of bad weather, all booths will be moved inside.

There will be 27 spaces total, 9 outdoors(on our patio w/ shade), 18 indoors (6 w/ table & wall space, 12 table only space). The outdoor spaces will rent for $15/day, indoor table spaces go for $20/day and indoor table/wall spaces for $25/day. Discounts will be given for spaces rented by the month; outdoor space $45/month, indoor table $60/month, indoor table/wall $75/month. So, in other words, rent a space for the month and get one day free! Artists must bring their own tables, though we do have chairs. Spaces will be rented on a first come, first served basis. It is recommended that you reserve space ahead of time in order to guarantee a space. However, if all spaces are not reserved, we will rent them out the day of the show on a first come/served basis. Artists must sit their own spaces, but we can take credit card sales through the gallery. We plan to heavily promote this market and hope to start something really BIG! The Rail Runner runs right past our building with the downtown stop only 4 blocks away! Also, the Convention Center is one block away!

Contact Paula to reserve your space today! By phone at 554-3805 or email chromastudios@comcast.net

May First Friday, new space on Roma!

Front entryway into the gallery

May 1st was our first opening at our new space on Roma. After three weeks of 12-14 hour days and lots of work, our First Friday opening was a huge hit. We just adore our new space on the corner of 1st and Roma! Chroma on Roma, according to everyone I talked with at the opening, is now THE “IT” place here in Albuquerque. Naturally, I think so, but I’m a little biased. So, it was great to hear it from the many new visitors and our regulars alike. Many thanks to the Albuquerque Art Crawlers meet up group who chose our gallery to visit this month! Usually, we have a late crowd since we stay open late, but this month was different, we had a huge early crowd with a steady stream of visitors all night.
