Intimate Concert Series:
Chroma Studios has a dedicated performance space where we host our “Intimate Concert Series”. The space seats 60 audience members who will enjoy an evening where they can interact with the performers on a more personal basis than most venues. Doors open at 7:00 pm and shows start at 7:30 Tickets are $10 if purchased at the door the night of the show. They are $8 if purchased in advance. Intimate concerts are the brain child of Aaron Lewis, co-owner and token musician here at Chroma Gallery.
First Friday & Artscrawl Openings:
The first Friday of every month we open the gallery from 6-10pm for our artist reception/opening. Every third month we open for the third Friday Artscrawl artist reception. Each month we feature one of our artists in the main gallery along with the work of our gallery artists. Chroma Studios Gallery represents over 50 New Mexico artists. Join us for our artist receptions and enjoy free refreshments while you meet and mingle with the artists. Talk with artists about their techniques, inspirations, stories and take a special piece home with you!

Aaron: Is the date for the old time music concert the 23rd or 24th. You have the 23rd there. Playing with me will be banjo great Wayne Shrubsall. I also plan to have a computer projector show of scenes of appalachia and hall of fame old time musicians including some amazing photographs from around the mountaqins and from New Mexico. This slide show will be projected on the wall somewhere, somehow. Can you call me at 505-280-7601. This is an original way to aurally and visually display the wild and whacky world of old time music. Do you do a slide show to post on your website of the featured artists showing? I see that Brendan Gould is featured both on Sept. 4 and Sept 18 and I wondered if you planned to post anything showing the artwork as shown on the given day of the featured artist. Can’t be there, but I enjoyed my visit to the studio in June.

Hi Dan,
I am working on updating the website so we can have slideshows, videos, all that good stuff. I will post pics just for you since you can’t be here! I enjoyed meeting you too!

Hi Folks,
Greetings from the San Francisco indie-piano-art-rock trio, True Margrit. We are currently touring to spread the word about our new recording, “THE JUGGLER’s PROGRESS” (distributed by Portland’s Burnside Distribution)
In March we will be passing near your area as we go to and from Austin TX. We don’t know what your policy is for out of town bands, but please give us a shot. We are looking at (ideally) March 15th (or we could maybe swing the 14th but it’s a long haul) Or on the way back from TX, we pass through on Saturday March 20th or Sunday March 21st. Please let us know if there is any chance of finding a spot for us. We would love to play at the Chroma Intimate Concerts!
